The Ledcor Group of Companies, one of Canada’s largest diversified construction companies with operations throughout North America, was named to Canada’s Top 100 Employers list for 2012, an accolade they also received in 2011.
Employers are evaluated by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers and an academic advisory board made up of members from across Canada. Companies from various industry sectors are evaluated based on eight criteria: (1) Physical Workplace; (2) Work Atmosphere & Social; (3) Health, Financial & Family Benefits; (4) Vacation & Time Off; (5) Employee Communications; (6) Performance Management; (7) Training & Skills Development; and (8) Community Involvement.
Compared to its industry peers, it was determined that Ledcor offered some of the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.
