Ledcor named one of Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures of 2011

Ledcor Group of Companies is proud to have been named one of Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures of 2011, an annual award handed out by Waterstone Human Capital.

The award program, which is in its seventh year, annually recognizes best-in-class Canadian organizations for having a culture that has helped enhance performance and sustain a competitive advantage. “Ledcor’s modern day culture of family values, collaboration, safety and excellence has been critical to its success,” said Waterstone chairman and CEO, Marty Parker. “Its commitment to its corporate values, aligned under the One Ledcor banner, has provided Ledcor with a distinct competitive advantage, making it a clear winner of 2011.”

Ledcor was selected as one of 10 top award recipients from 440 eligible nominated organizations and 42 regional finalists. “Ledcor’s strategic corporate direction as defined by the company’s Executive and Board is communicated through our One Ledcor initiative promoting internal collaboration and the re-positioned corporate vision Forward Together that emphasizes the same spirit of collaboration with our clients and stakeholders. Thanks to our outstanding employees, who have embraced this spirit of collaboration and progressive approach, we have been selected as one of the top 10 companies representing the best workplaces in Canada,” said Ledcor’s vice president of Human Resources, Jeannette McAffer. “We are in good company with some great organizations and know our employees will be very proud to be recognized with this honour.”

Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures of 2011 will be celebrated on Monday, February 6, 2012, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto.
