The construction cost consulting, quantity surveying, and related property and construction advisory services firm Rider Levett Bucknall has announced a merger with Clare Randall-Smith Pendlebury Cost Consultants (CRSP), and will be known as RLB | CRSP Cost Consultants. CRSP’s new Toronto office will be its second location in Canada; Rider Levett Bucknall also operates an office in Calgary.
The combined expertise of Rider Levett Bucknall and CRSP spans the spectrum of project types that includes transportation, infrastructure, cultural and educational facilities, government, healthcare, hospitality, public assembly, and commercial developments.
“Rider Levett Bucknall has worked in the Ontario region for many years,” said Julian Anderson, president of Rider Levett Bucknall North America, “so expansion into this market was a natural progression. In addition to being an excellent cultural fit, CRSP brings a wealth of transportation experience to Rider Levett Bucknall’s North America practice.”
RLB | CRSP Cost Consultants is currently working on seven of Canada’s Top 50 Biggest Infrastructure Projects, as ranked by ReNew Canada, including Toronto’s Eglinton Crosstown LRT (C$4.9 billion) and Spadina Subway Extension (C$2.6 billion). The firm is also working on the New International Trade Crossing (C$4.0 billion), which creates a new border crossing between the U.S. and Canada over the Detroit River.
