TransGlobe Property Management Services has acquired a 43-unit three-storey residential building at 1116 Hamilton Street in New Westminster. This is TransGlobe’s twelfth property in the city.
Western Canada has been the site of TransGlobe’s major expansion push. In the two and a half months since the beginning of 2008 alone, the firm has acquired upwards of 900 residential suites in B.C. and Alberta.
“The booming job market and the large number of workers it attracts account for the tremendous demand for quality rental housing throughout Western Canada,” commented president Daniel Drimmer.
Based on current forecasts, which call for the economy to continue to soar in Western Canada in 2008, it is expected that TransGlobe will continue on its course of expansion and diversification into Western Canada over the coming months.
