Green Roofs for Healthy Cities fall and winter training schedule released

The design, installation, implementation, and maintenance of green roofs require specialized knowledge and skills. This knowledge provides valuable opportunities to maximize client benefits such as integrated building and site design and cost reduction. Conversely without the appropriate skills, would-be green roof practitioners could potentially deliver substandard projects to their clients and seriously damage the reputation of the green roof industry in North America.

Courses include:
Design 101 Introductory Course (2nd Edition)
Design and Installation – 201
Waterproofing and Drainage – 301 (new course)
Green Walls 101 – Introduction to Systems and Design (new course)

Those collecting AIA, RAIC or ASLA credits for application toward local / regional associations or for licence renewal can acquire 7.5 education credits by enrolling in these courses.
