New home building system company launches in Ontario

Timber Block, a Quebec-based provider of customizable, energy-efficient, and quick-building homes has expanded into the Ontario market with a flagship model home and design centre in Innisfil, ON, located just off of Highway 400 en route to cottage country.

Timber Block uses panelized pre-constructed walls that allow structures to be erected in a day. Every Timber Block home uses patented R-30 technology which insulates walls 400 per cent more than traditional builds, resulting in significantly reduced energy bills, and 40 per cent less wood is an added bonus, which means less waste.

“Following our success in Quebec, high demand forced the construction of the new flagship location in Ontario,” said Craig Johnson, president of Timber Block. “With the discerning and savvy home owner, the importance of a beautiful home combined with superior energy efficiency, exceptional engineering and contemporary design, is a necessity in today’s market. A stunning home, whether it is an infill home in the city or a cottage in the Muskokas, is a serious investment, it is important that people feel confident with their decision. Timber Block delivers confidence and future home owners will witness this when they visit our homes.”
