Two Windsor-based architectural and engineering firms, both named Glos, are once again reunited. Randi Glos Inc. has joined forces with Glos Associates Inc. The combined firm now offers a staff of 25architects and engineers with extensive experience in commercial, industrial, residential, institutional and heavy civil project work.
Randi Glos began his career with Glos Associations in 1978 but left in 1990 to pursue his career ambitions independently. Since then, he has completed projects such as the Charles Clarke Square, the Adie Knox Pool renovations and the Rotary Home for Children and Youth in Maryvale.
The move now brings the two companies back together after 21 years of successfully operating as separate organizations.
“Coming together creates a natural fit for all of us,” said Jerry Glos, one of the founders and a senior member of the Glos architectural firm. “The enhanced level of design and project-handling expertise that the firm can now offer, as a whole, greatly expands our range. We believe it’s something our customers will really notice and appreciate.”
Recent projects completed by Glos Associates include the Transit Windsor Main Downtown Terminal, Seasons Retirement Residence (Amherstburg), the Point Pelee Boardwalk, and the Windsor Star Printing Facility.
The new, expanded firm will operate under the name Glos Associates.
