Enermodal Engineering has opened its fifth Canadian location with an office in Winnipeg, offering the full range of Enermodal services including: LEED consulting; energy modelling; building performance monitoring; greening existing buildings; commissioning; and M/E design.
“There’s been a real increase in interest in energy efficiency and green building certification in Manitoba. Given the large annual heating loads and the rural location of many projects, there is a significant opportunity for innovation in HVAC, envelope, and wastewater designs,” says Stephen Carpenter, president of Enermodal Engineering. “From what we’ve seen, our technical expertise and full green building service offering will be of real value to prairie-based architects and building owners.”
Working in conjunction with Enermodal’s Calgary and Kitchener offices, Enermodal Winnipeg is already working on several projects in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, including the much-anticipated Museum of Human Rights and the multi-building Assiniboine Park Zoo redevelopment.
